I selected this photo because it was perfect timing for the shot and the topic we were on was powerlines. Compositionally, there is line visible through the repetition of power lines connected to the utility poles. There is also repetition shown by the birds sitting on the power line. To take this photo I had the camera set on 200 ISO and had I used a shallow depth of field.
Looking at this photo, the compositional element that is most apparent is texture by the bumps on the tree. There is also lines seen on the branches of the tree. When I edited this photo, I adjusted the ISO . The camera was set to 100 ISO. This photo communicates/reminds me of/ makes me think of the beauty of nature.
This photo was taken for the Lines assignment. What I like about this photo is you can see the lines and creases on the building. The photo follows the rule of thirds because the rule of thirds says that you should position the most important elements in your scene along these lines, or at the points where they intersect. The ISO was set to 100 and the White Balance was 5400-5500.
